SKOKIE — Homecoming week festivities culminated the past weekend, starting with a parade that wound through downtown Skokie.

Starting at 1:40 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Niles West parking lot off Oakton Street, students traveled by foot and float north on Gross Point Road, south on Lincoln Avenue to Oakton Street, then west on Oakton and south on Gross Point Road until they reached the Niles West south lot.

Featured in the parade were Niles West senior homecoming king and queen Faris Karaman 17, and Molly Kleppin 18.

The night of Oct. 6 was the homecoming dance.
