The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Lincolnwood Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.
BURGLARY
A man reported that his car had ts rear-door window shattered while it was parked in the lot of Olive Garden, 3303 Touhy Ave., between 9 and 10 p.m. Jan. 7. More than $1,000 in various items were taken from the car, including a cell phone, printer, a bowling ball and shoes and a traffic direction vest.
THEFT
Pagam Enkhtsetseg, 36, of 5400 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago, was charged with theft after her arrest at the Lincolnwood Town Center Kohl’s at 1:54 p.m. Jan. 7. A Kohl’s security agent told police he saw Enkhtsetseg place clothing from Kohl’s, valued at about $186, in a plastic bag she was holding and leave the store without paying for it.
An employee of Lids in Lincolnwood Town Center said her $600 iPhone was stolen from the back employees’ room sometime between noon and 3 p.m. Jan. 5. The store manager said the videotape of the room shows an unidentified man come into the back room and leave quickly while store employees were helping customers.
Employees at the Animal Store, 4364 W. Touhy, said a $185 chinchilla was stolen from the store between 3:51 and 3:54 p.m. Jan. 7. A videotape from that time shows three unidentified men and a woman go to aisle, where one man unlocks the cage, takes the small animal and puts in in his coat pocket. The owner said the keys to that cage have been missing for about two weeks.
A resident of the 7300 block of Kildare Avenue said a $1,400 workout training bicycle supposedly delivered to his home Dec. 23 was not at the house when he returned from time away Dec. 26.
DUI
David M. Spector, 30, of 1848 W. Touhy, Linconwood, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at 12:09 a.m. Jan. 7 on the 4500 block of Touhy Avenue. Police stopped a Honda Accord allegedly driven by Spector traveling at 48 mph on a 30 mph zone. Spector also was charged with failure to signal at a turn and speeding.
James J. Lehman, 64, of 3900 N. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following his arrest at 5:24 p.m. Jan. 7 on the 4000 block of Devon Avenue. Police said the car Lehman drove cut off a person turning onto Devon from Crawford Avenue. Lehman also was charged with making an improper left turn, crossing the road dividing space and operation an uninsured vehicle.
