“Chicago: A Resource of Young Artists,” features works by eight young artists of the School of the Art Institute in Chicago through April 3 at the Art Museo at the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare, 5300 N. River Road, Rosemont. The gallery never closes and encompasses the whole first level of the hotel. Personal, guided tours available by the on-staff art concierge anytime.

The show is a collaboration with Schneider Gallery in River North, and is sponsored by Lulu B. The show includes work by three students from Seoul, Korea: Yo Ahn Han, who gets inspiration for painting through a battle with disease; Minky Kim, who explores her self through photography; Youjeong Kwon, who focuses on portrait paintings.

Other young artists are: William Joyce, who specializes in painting with video installations; Dyne Sophia Lee from Columbus, Ohio, whose tapestries reflect her childhood in Korea; Eileen O’Donnell from Elmhurst, whose oil paintings depict observational narratives; Nick Schleicher from St. Louis, whose paintings reflect the act of confrontation and Noelle Sharp from Salt Lake City, who expands space and environment through fiber installations.
