Pet Supplies Plus is opening Jan. 7

Pets and their human companions will be fed, entertained, and otherwise pampered during the Grand Opening celebration of the new Pet Supplies Plus store in Lincolnwood Saturday and Sunday.

The new store is at 7031 N. Lincoln Ave., across from Henry Proesel Park. The 7,850-square-foot store will feature more than 15 different brands of natural pet foods, both fresh-frozen and raw pet foods, and a wide variety of animals-- including freshwater fish, birds, reptiles and other small animals.

“We’re ecstatic to open our doors, meet our new two-legged and four-legged neighbors, and show them all we have to offer,” said new store manager Matt Maks.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Pets n’ People Pizza parties will bring everyone’s favorite treat to the store, including specially designed pizzas for canines only.
